In Kansas there are a variety of schools statewide and many people wonder which ones are the best for providing a good, solid education. According to recent statistics there are a few schools that rank pretty close together academically. Hanover High School in Hanover, Kansas is rated the best in the state with an overall attendance of just 74 students they have a great teacher to student ratio of 11.2, for 9th through 12th graders. They also scored a 96 in Math and a perfect 100 in Reading on the SAT.

Secondly, Centralia High School in Centralia, Kansas has an attendance of 124 students giving them an even better student teacher ratio of 9.6 and they cover 7th through 12th grades. Their school scored a 94.8 in Math and a 96 in Reading on their SAT, so they are not that far behind Hanover High School.

Third, is Baileyville-St. Benedict High School in Baileyville, Kansas with an attendance of 108 students they have a student teacher ratio of 9.6 as well for 7th through 12th graders. They achieved a 89.9 in Math and 99.8 in Reading on their SAT. They are not far away from second in the state by just 1.1 point difference.
